Anyway, back to the rain. We live right now in what's called "The Cliff Cottage." It's one of 4 properties located on True Blue Point. Does this sound like a place you'd want to be during one of these rainstorms? No, me neither.
Our life took an exciting new twist when we moved to Grenada, the "Isle of Spice." for medical school. Posted here are accounts from our exciting, caribbean adventure!

Rain, Rain, and More Rain!
This post reiterates our #3 thing that we learned about Grenada last term-It is sunny everyday, but when it rains, it pours! OMG-it has now been raining (as Dave calls it "Biblical Rain") for about 10 hours straight with monsoon-type winds. Not only did this rain keep me up last night, but it is sure cutting into my beach time today. Also, who really wants to leave the house when it's raining like this? You've got to be crazy. This is a sort of stay in your pajamas and watch movies all day kind of rain or at least sleep in until noon. Poor Dave is headed off to school today. At least his day starts a little later on Fridays. It sure beats his class schedule of 8-5 that he has on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. After those long days, he is still expected to come home and study all evening. He really loves what he's learning though and is passionate about medicine, so this keeps him motivated to put in these long hours. He continues to amaze me!
